What exactly is "Speaking with the Stars"?
Imagine stepping onto a stage where the spotlight shines just on you, alongside some of the biggest names in public speaking! "Speaking with the Stars" is not just a competition; it's your golden ticket to share your passion, tell your story, and captivate an audience packed with hundreds of attendees. It’s your chance to spark your speaking career by showing off your skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Think American Idol meets Dancing With The Stars meets TED Talk. Pretty amazing, right?
How do I enter the competition?
It’s super simple! First, quickly apply & snag your ticket right here on this page, and you're almost there! After that, you’ll get all the details on how to submit your audition video. Make sure it’s a five-minute clip talking about something you absolutely love or know inside out. Think of it as your mini-TED talk that shows us just how awesome you are!
Can international participants apply?
Absolutely! In fact, there are already a few that have entered and are coming. We welcome voices from around the globe. Just make sure you can travel to Atlanta, Georgia, for the live event.
What support do finalists receive?
All finalists will receive guidance on perfecting their presentations and tips on how to perform best on stage. You’re not just entering a competition; you’re joining a community that supports your growth!
How is the audience involved in the competition?
Our live audience plays a crucial role—they vote to decide the “Grand Champion” at the event. It’s your chance to connect directly with hundreds of attendees and make a lasting impression.
Are there any qualifications required to participate?
No specific qualifications needed—just a passion for speaking and a message to share! Whether you're a seasoned speaker or a fresh new voice, we want to hear what you’ve got.
What should I include in my audition video?
Focus on a topic you’re passionate about or deeply knowledgeable in. Keep it engaging, authentic, and show us your unique style. Think of it as your “mini-showcase” to the world.
How long will I have to speak if I reach the finals?
Each of the top six finalists will be given a slot to speak in front of our audience for about 10 minutes. It’s your moment to impress, inspire, and make an impact… so make every second count!
What’s the grand prize for winning the competition?
Winning "Speaking with the Stars" isn’t just about bragging rights (though those are pretty great, too). You’ll gain incredible exposure, the chance to speak at future events, and of course, the grand title of “Grand Champion”.
